I bring warmth and energy into every room I walk into. I have been told in the past that occasionally I can be black and white in my thinking, but I am aware of it and enjoying more and more working with grey. I bring over 20 years of experience and growth, as a professional and as a human being. That combination is what makes the difference.
I have had the privilege of working with and learning from different people, cultures and organisations, from small to large, from private to non-profit.
Across all of it I have been an HR and Operations leader, an entrepreneur, a coach, and a facilitator.
That richness of experience gave me an understanding of different perspectives, business models, and ways of working. And I have come out of all of it with one very clear understanding of what actually matters.People. Always people.
This is one of the things that allows me to walk into an organisation and find my footing quickly.
I have spent over 20 years working alongside boards, senior leaders, and teams. It has not always been easy. I have navigated bias, burnout, and the pressure to be exceptional just to be taken seriously. I have rebuilt myself from the ground up.
Put yourself in others people's shoes and help them from a place of no judgement. This is not easy to do but it's worth the effort.
Everyone is a leader. Be a leader that inspires and empowers others. Show them that they have potential, choices and endless possibilities.
Embrace your true self without masks. Live openly and honestly by your values.
Maintain a positive outlook on life by approaching challenges with optimism. Acknowledge the negatives, but learn from every experience, and view yourself and your abilities through a positive lens.
